As of April 1, the temporary migration measures established in the framework of the national health emergency by COVID-19 are revoked.
During your stay in Costa Rica, you must follow the health guideline established by tour operators in order to participate in your activity.
Here is the key update (April 1, 2022)
As of April 1, the temporary immigration measures for entering Costa Rica, established by the COVID-19 pandemic, are annulled. This eliminates the requirement to complete the epidemiological form known as the Health Pass and the medical insurance requirement for unvaccinated foreigners.
More good news, all retail installations, activities, and events will be able to operate at 100% capacity.
In spite of the fact the use of a mask is not obligatory, it is recommended to preserve the handwashing protocol, as well as obedience to the sanitary protocols in each tourist activity.
